Our Story

NMDC Dredging & Marine was founded (as National Marine Dredging Company) in 1976 as a subsidiary company, before it was made an independent shareholding entity in 1979. We became a public joint stock company in 1986, with 45% public shareholding, and the rest owned by a combination of governmental and local organizations.

Over the years, NMDC Dredging & Marine has consistently raised benchmarks in the industry and established a global reputation for excellence. With over 2,550 skilled employees and an extensive fleet of vessels and equipment, we are proud to play our part in the continued development of the UAE.
